    Finest budget mascara

    Such a sick mascara! I'm slowly but surely working my way through all of essence's mascaras, and so far none have been directly bad. But this one is fantastically beautiful on my lashes 😍 I happen to like a little spider leg feel on my lashes, so much volume, I usually use YSL's false lashes mascara or Helena Rubinstein's femme fatale. But this one is a tad prettier. The downsides are that it still tends to leave marks on both lower and upper eyelids (though less than the other waterproof essence mascaras I've had time to test), but I have this problem with almost all mascaras in general. However, when it's time to wash it off, it's kind of cemented on my lashes πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚ no matter how much I rub and wash (with removal of course), there's always a little mascara left. But on the other hand, for this price, it performs at the top!

    For wet consistency, doesn't do the job

    Cheap mascara, probably nice for younger ones who just started with makeup and who don't want to "look too made up", if that makes sense. For me, the consistency is too soft, I have to work a lot for it to cover the lashes completely. I think the brush is too big for my taste, it gets very messy since I have to work the mascara properly into the lashes. Doesn't give any lift or similar. It also crumbled a lot on me. I've never experienced this with other mascaras before. Do not recommend

    What a miss!

    Gives a super nice result with separated lashes! A bit drier formula and a good brush that catches my lashes. BUT this is supposed to be a waterproof mascara, yet I get panda eyes! Black all the way down under my eyes regardless of the weather and other makeup. Also, it's incredibly hard to remove.

      Hey Amanda! Thanks for your review 🀍 It's such a shame that it didn't hold better for you when everything else was so good! Maybe you should try a 38-degree mascara next time if you haven't tried it before? It washes off with lukewarm water but holds super well during the day, I think - and many others do too. Idun has an affordable πŸ‘Œ I actually just saw that they also have a waterproof 38 that also washes off with water but is supposed to withstand more, but still should wash off with water, maybe it needs to be a little warmer than for the other one.     My reliable favorite

    I've been using it for about two years now. I had a hard time finding a good mascara before, but I really like this one. It builds up nicely so I get long eyelashes. Stays like a bear but isn't impossible to take off later.

    Princess lash mascara

    Super good, have ordered it several times, always just as good. The eyelashes become long and last long. However, it gets a bit clumpy after having it for a month, and then I usually buy a new one.
