I was lucky at the end of summer to win a set of products from Mili, and I am incredibly happy about it. Thanks to that, I have discovered several products that I completely missed before. Like this beautiful highlighter stick that I won in the color Satin. First of all, it is packaged in a small handy stick where you click it up from the bottom. It is easy to pack, takes up hardly any space at all. Then it looks incredibly nice on the skin, it just melts in and gives a super pretty glow that also lasts great all day. It is easy to work with and can be applied with both a brush, sponge, and fingers, but I think it works best with fingers. It also feels very economical, you can hardly see that I have used it even though I have used it a lot since I got it home. The first impression was positive. I became so curious! A big pink blender can only make you happy š The sponge is really soft. I love the color. Itās quick to do makeup, lovely. Itās fun to use. Easy to apply. The price fits the product. Easy to clean. Absorbs a little, so for example, the foundation lasts longer. I usually use it dry for concealer & foundation as I want full coverage. It can also be dampened for less coverage. Using the tip works well to get around the eyes. The makeup stays well. Nice result. Mascara is the product I use the most. I have naturally blonde, very light lashes and donāt want to dye them as I am very sensitive in my skin and around my eyes specifically. Even though I donāt wear makeup otherwise, I can put on a little mascara just to add some color to my face. I hadnāt tried anything from the brand before I was lucky enough to win a goodie bag with lots of nice products from Mili here on Lyko social last summer. The mascara was one of the products included, and I was extra happy about that since I love trying out mascaras. The mascara is packaged in a pretty pink color, and I really like the tube; itās comfortable to hold. The right amount of product comes out of the tube, and it has a good consistency. I dislike sticky mascaras, but this one is not; itās perfect in my opinion. The brush itself is slightly twisted, and it takes a few tries with the mascara before I learn exactly how to use this brush. But thatās always the case with mascaras, I think; they have a certain break-in period. The lashes become really black with good volume but still nicely separated already at the first layer. I always apply double layers on the upper lash line, and you have to be a bit quick with the second layer as it dries fast. The mascara holds incredibly well throughout the day without smudging or running at all. I have issues with both hooded eyes and watery eyes, and there arenāt many mascaras that can handle that. In the pictures, the mascara has been on for a whole day, and Iāve been out in the rain and wind for half the day, and despite that, the mascara hasnāt budged at all. Impressive! Itās truly waterproof as it promises ššæ The mascara is still easy to wash off with an eye makeup remover. I was lucky enough to win this cleanser from Mili a while ago, and I've now had the chance to test it for a bit. I must say I'm impressed, it's really good. First of all, the bottle is pretty with its lovely bright pink color, which means it can stay out all the time. It's also very practical, the pump makes it very easy to use. The right amount of product comes out with each pump, which I like. The cleanser smells incredibly good and fresh. My son and I have debated what it smells like, but it's hard to say. A little apple, cucumber, bubblegum? š¤ Anyway, it's a mild, nice scent that only enhances the experience. I can otherwise be sensitive to scents, but I'm not bothered at all by this one. My skin is dry and sensitive and often reacts to products. I haven't found this cleanser to be drying or irritating, but rather my skin feels hydrated and calm all the time. Milis Bubble Wash is a lovely cleanser that does what itās supposed to. I've used it as the second step in my double cleansing routine, and it works perfectly. Surprisingly good!
I want to be honest and say that I had no high expectations for this primer, partly because I have a really hard time finding a primer that works for me and partly because the price tag on this one is low. But I am really impressed with this primer. It is so light in consistency, feels a bit like a day cream. It doesn't blur as much as a silicone-based primer, but I don't have to worry about whether it "collides" with foundation, because I think it works great with all my different foundations. I am absolutely no pro at primers and have no greater knowledge of whether my foundations are oil-based, water-based, or silicone-based, but I know that you should have the same base for primer as for the foundation - but as I said, I think this one works with everything. āØLong-lasting and the makeup stays nice all day! āØMany primers make my skin react with small bumps, but no reaction with this one š āØIt is not sticky. I'm quite new to setting sprays and haven't tried many, but I really like this one from Mili Cosmetics š I think the mist is nice, and I get a lovely finish, a bit blurred and natural glow, and I feel hydrated. The makeup holds well. Gives full, shiny lips. Creamy, soft lip gloss. Thicker consistency. Comes in super pretty colors. PUMP is one of the favorites. Love the beautiful brown shade. My lips can get very dry from certain products, but not from this lip gloss. It tingles a bit on the lips when applied. Holds incredibly well. I apply an extra layer during the day sometimes. Big Makeup Blender is fantastic and makes it quicker to do your makeup. It is very soft and fluffy. Their Pro Primer is very nice on the skin, moisturizing and feels light on the skin. Hi-Definer Eyeliner Pencil is a very nice color and super that it is waterproof.
