This surprised me a bit. I expected a pretty standard cleansing balm, but this one actually has a bit of "personality". The consistency is firm in the jar, but as soon as you work it between your fingers, it melts quickly and becomes an oily, silky-smooth texture that is very pleasant to massage into the skin. It dissolves makeup and sunscreen, I especially noticed that even mascara comes off quite quickly. It doesn't feel like you have to "work" to get your skin clean, it does the job for you. Afterwards, the skin feels soft and calm, not tight or dry.π§ BUT, and here we have to be honest, it can leave a little "film" if you just rinse it off. For me, it worked best to use a damp cloth or go in with a light cleanser afterwards. I have been so lucky to test the Mamonde Pore Shrinker Bakuchiol Cream for a few weeks, and I have been very positively surprised π Already from the first time I tried it, it felt incredibly good on the skin. It has a thick and creamy consistency, but in such a soft and light way β almost like applying it on a cloud βοΈ It melts in right away and sits so comfortably on the skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I have combination skin and get light breakouts, especially when I use slightly richer creams, so I was honestly a bit afraid to react to this π But fortunately, it went completely the opposite way!
