Very disappointed - not waterproof at all!
✅ Natural result with few layers ✅ Nice applicator ❌ Not waterproof ❌ Clumps incredibly easily ❌ Doesn't last all day I was so excited to test this mascara - but I was very disappointed. With one layer (picture at the top right), there was minimal color and volume, but if you want this for a very natural look, it works well. If you want a bit more and apply several layers (3 layers in the picture below), it clumps incredibly easily and still disappointing results - I think! In the product description, it says that it is waterproof, so not a water-resistant mascara, but can still withstand a bit of water. I have to say I completely disagree with this. It was at exactly the same level, if not even easier to remove, than regular non-waterproof mascaras. I think the description can therefore be very misleading. ✅ VOLUME!! ✅ Lasts all day ✅ No clumps ❌ Very wet consistency ❌ Flakes a bit over time I have to say I'm very impressed with how much volume this gave - and no clumps! It's very easy to apply, but I can nitpick that the consistency is very «wet». Durable volume, but maybe not for everyone
My hair type: normal thickness, frizzy, oily scalp, and dry ends ✅Easy and straightforward to use once you learn the technique ✅Gives a nice lift effect that surprisingly lasts long ❌Requires a bit of practice to avoid visible waves in the hair ❌Not dramatic volume ❌A bit high price compared to the result I have now tested the volumaster for a short period. First and foremost, it is easy to use, but it still requires some practice to avoid the small waves created by the volumaster in the hair from becoming visible. I recommend, as stated in the product description, to tease the hair lightly at the top before use to achieve a more seamless result :) The volume is enough to give a nice lift effect, but nothing revolutionary. What impressed me the most was how long the little volume actually lasted. Quick and beautiful curls!
My hair type: normal thickness, frizzy, oily scalp, and dry ends ✅ Gives big, beautiful natural "blowout" curls with volume ✅ Easy to use! ✅ Quick heating and automatically turns off after 30 minutes ❌ The cord can be a bit annoying during use ❌ No noticeable difference with the Ionic function In collaboration with Lyko, I got to test this hot brush, and there’s no doubt that it works! I appreciated that it heated up quickly and that the curls got a nyyydelig "blowout"-look volume. Even though the ionic function claims to provide extra shine and reduce frizz, I unfortunately didn’t notice any dramatic difference in the hair's texture. The design is relatively simple and straightforward, but I noticed that the base of the cord is angled for flexibility, which can be a bit annoying as it sometimes pushes against my arm during styling. To get the curls to shape properly, I had to use the hottest function and hold for about 6-8 seconds per section.
